Does anyone have the name of the first wife of Capt George Ball of Bayview? Since Elizabeth Ann was born around 1702 it does not appear that Grace Haynie would be her mother since she would not have been old enough. There appears to be some discrepancies. It would explain though, if Capt George was married before and his first wife died prior to his marriage to Grace Haynie sometime in 1709.
