Query on George Clark WICKHAM

His mother Almeda Wickham details were changed from

Almeda EVERETS 1809-1875 to Sarah Jane GOODRICH

John Joseph Goodrich, I has been added as her father

I have reverted the profile back to the original details and detached the father

Maryette Wickham details were changed from

Maryette PRATT 1839-1876 to Mary HURLBUT 1654-1701

and Thomas or John Hurbut and Sarah Hurlbut added as her parents

I have reverted the profile back to the original details and detached the parents

• father - Captain Thomas "Cornet" Wickham, III (from the dates above this profile was born in 1651)
• mother - Mary Wickham (from the dates above this profile was born 1654)

Based on the dates on surrounding profiles Set 2 was born 200 years before this profile and needs to be detached.

I think that William M Wickham needs to be detached from George Clark Wickham, II and Maryette Wickham as they are too young to be his parents

There seems to be a rather large problem with the dates
Thomas (biological father) Provis Wickham born 1624 died 1688
has a son Captain Thomas "Cornet" Wickham, III with no dates
who has a son William M Wickham born in 1852
which is biologically impossible

Assuming that Thomas (1624-1688) wife was pregnant when he died then his son (Thomas Cornet) could have been born no later than 1689. There is absolutely no way that a person born in 1689 could have a son born in 1852 (he would have been 163!!) - I think there are generations missing between Thomas 1624-1688 and William 1852-1925

Captain Thomas "Cornet" Wickham, III 1651-1730 is already on Geni with wife Mary Wickham 1654-1701.
