He appears on both the 1698 and 1700 census as age 20.

He was married around 1701, at age 23 to Jeanne Gaudet (age 17), of Port Royal, daughter of Pierre l'aine Gaudet and Anne Blanchard.

www.islandregister.com/arsenault.html differs with Steve Natalie's date and place. It gives "1678, Beaubassin, Acadia as the date and place of birth. It also give the death as "bet 1754 - 1760".
