His father is listed as G8.1 Issachar Berish (Bernhard) Eskeles, who died on March 2, 1753. This implies that Baron Bernhard Eskeles was born sometime after March 2, 1753.

The blazon for his coat of arms reads as follows: Quarterly: 1 and 4: Or, a demi-eagle sable beaked and armed of the field, issuing from the partition line; 2 and 3 Azure, two winged serpents interlaced and affrontes argent; over all an escutcheon: Argent, a vine redorte proper, leaved vert, fruited azure. Supporters: two storks proper. Motto: Patriae suisque.
