Evidence needed to support as wife of John Granger, of Shillington

The claim that Laurent Granger was Membertou’s grandson appears to stem from a hypothesis discussed in this article that suggests maybe Laurent was the son of “John Granger” of Scituate, Massachusetts, who married a woman named “Grace X.” It is in the erroneous online trees that we find the claims that “Grace X” was Membertou’s daughter. The time frame does not add up to make it even biologically possible for this to be true and as we know, Laurent was from Plymouth, England. Once again, this is a perfect example of “wishful thinking” for Indigenous ancestry by people who descend from Laurent and his wife, Marie Landry

Finding different birth dates for Grace...

Upon researching the validity of Grace being in my family tree, I've found many differing records compared to what is found here (as of publishing this note).

Both the following sites (same record) estimate her birth to be 1584, which is 16 years earlier than stated here. Making her 50 years old having her last child. It may be possible, but unlikely.

Also, she was born in Acadia, but her children in England. I do notice John (husband) was a sailer. It could be possible he brought her to England. Again, it feels unlikely to me, but that's just my opinion (as much as I want it to be her!).

I plan to continue this search as I make a trip out to Nova Scotia (Acadia) in a few months to see if I can trace any further information.
