• KESKKÜLA Henno, sotamies, s. 25. III 1925 Tartus. Õpilane. Soome armeesse 2. XI 1943, väljaõppel Porokyläs, Taavettis allohvitserikoolis ja Jalkalas 4./JR200-s. Tõrjelahinguis Karjala kannasel, Viiburi lahel ja Vuoksel. Vabastati teenistusest 18. IX 1944, siirdus Rootsi, lõpetas kõrgkooli keemikuna, töötas Dow Chemical Companys. Kirjutanud üle 80 teadusliku töö, teinud kaastööd mitmele entsüklopeediale, elas USA-s. Raamat "Vabaduse eest" lk. 117.

Obituary of Henno Keskkula

Dr. Henno Keskkula Dr. Henno Keskkula died on August 26, 2007. He was born March 26, 1926 to Elsa and Kristof Keskkula in Tartu, Estonia. He received his early education in Estonia and Sigtuna, Sweden. He obtained his B.S. from Davis and Elkins and his PhD from the University of Cincinnati. He married Carol Louise Tiemeyer in 1952. They lived in Midland, Michigan for 30 years, where he worked at Dow Chemical Company in Polymer Research. In 1982 he joined the Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of Texas. He published extensively and was internationally recognized as one of the leading authorities in the field of rubber toughening of plastic materials. He was a member of many professional organizations. He will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends, being survived by his wife of 55 years and daughters Linda Sorensen and husband Robert and their children David and Andrea of Bellevue, WA and by Lesli Pitts and husband Todd of Bluffton, SC. A memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 8th at St. Matthews Episcopal Church.
