My great-great grandfather was a John sankey. He married Sarah Casey. He was an English Army Colonel and fought in the Kaffir Wars in south Africa. He emigrated to Brisbane, Australia,and settled at West End. There is a land mark, Mount Sankey, in Toohey Forrest, named after him
