Never saw a family with so many women named Anna or Maria. Mahler even named his firstborn Maria Anna then 2 years later, he named his 2nd and final child Anna Justine. I've also counted about 4 of his grandfathers named Abraham and at least two are named Isaac. It's not always easy navigating that name Mahler jungle, is it? If you really want to be confused, go to the Mahler genealogy site on line! Eeeeeeeeek! Try wading through that and make sense of it!
What great team work, you guys! I'm blown away by everyone's united front to get this historical family's documentation back to "normal". Sometimes, Fate knocks down the old, so that we can bandage up our wounds then rebuild -- even stronger! Look at those great people of New York and New Jersey, in the aftermath of Sandy. Yes, we can do this. It's the American way! You GO, Captain Randy! "Vedremo!"

Not quite sure what's been happening to the Mahler tree lately but someone deleting my auntie, my grandfather and my great uncle is not on. Anyway I have undeleted them and that side from my perspective now seems fine.
With regard Pam Karp's comment above if a Anna Quittner was married to Heinrich Quittner (which may well be correct as I don't know) then she is certainly not the same person as Anna Czeczowitzka (nee Quittner). Heinrich Quittner and Anna Czeczowitzka (nee Quittner) were brother and sister and the children of Ludwig Quittner and Leopoldine Mahler. Anna married Alexander Czeczowitzka and they were my paternal grandparents. They had two sons Rudolf, my father, and Heinrich, my uncle.
Other than a photo or two I know next to nothing of my great uncle Heinrich Quittner and would welcome any knowledge of any family he had.

I will leave it up to you - if you want to MP the above profiles - since you're doing most of the clean-up - after the corruption !
With this family, there are likely several duplicate names, across the generations. I don't know why dates don't factor in to distinguish between what might otherwise appear to be dupes... I'll leave that to you experts.
Hi, Laurence! I knew you could help unravel some of these mysteries about your family! Glad to see you've recovered some of the deleted files too! Thank you for your contribution to this worthy cause!
