Sarah Pratt - wife of John Richards - married 1670 in Weymouth, Mass. Is there any record of Sarah's birth to Phineas and Mary Pratt?

I do not see Sarah Pratt as a child of Phineas Pratt (1593-1680). If you look at the profile

Phineas Pratt

The entirety of the sketch "Preserved Puritan - from the Great Migration Project" is listed. This is the probably the best source out there.

Do you have a link on Geni to "the wife of John Richards" profile?

Hello.and thanks for your fast reply. I just joined geni yesterday. I have placed all of my ancesters except Sarah, mother of Bathsheba Richards b 1674 and wife of John Richards b abt 1650 Wehnouth MA. She is not of Matthew Pratt due to being in a different generation.

You may have joined Geni yesterday but you're not a beginner - I think you found an error that needs correction. But I want to place the erroneous profile correctly with your help.

Can you do me a favor? Go to the oldest ancestor profile you entered, the discussion tab, and start a new public discussion. That will show the link in public discussions so I can go right to it. It's quite possible that profiles already exist in Geni I can help merge the matches, and from this method, we all can learn - and get Sarah who married John Richards perhaps to her proper parents.

I posted on Sarah's profile. Hope that works. I can only access profiles highlighted within profiles in blue or I am sent to the screen to enter my credit card.

I sure appreciate your helping with Sarah! Are you also related?

Not related to Sarah any more since we "orphaned" her. :( But Phineas Pratt is Erica Isabel Howton, (c)'s second cousin 11 times removed's husband's father!

In Geni there are probably multiple paths to Great Migration ancestors like this - IF we get the descendant trees built out more.

My Massachusetts lines so far seem to be Cape Ann & Concord / Woburn areas, not so much Weymouth families. But obviously there was a "marriage event."
