Greetings,
Hope I've correctly understood the directions for resolving unwanted/incorrect merges. Please (re)direct me if I'm in the wrong place.
Someone has merged my close family members with other families. The information they used to make these connections is basically unverifiable, i.e. I have no access to what they said they used to make the connections. Until and unless that information is verified, the connections are pure conjecture and should be removed.
1) The person who did this is not a collaborator of mine
2) Now they're listed as a manager on the profile in question
3) I have asked the person to please detach the connections, to no avail.
Can someone please assist me in correcting this situation? I don't want people making erroneous changes to my family members, obviously. Also random people mysteriously becoming managers of my family members' profiles is also not ok.
Profiles in question:
The connection to Regina Busch is the unverifiable connection in question, and should be removed. The "new" manager is Anna Hajkova, someone I neither know nor approve of being a manger of these profiles.
Same story for Franta's brother Karel:
The connection to Dina Babbitt and her children should not be there.
Thanks for your help and guidance!
Cheers,
Levi
Martin RhNegativ I disconnected the wrong parents. Are you able to connect him to the correct ones yourself now?
Hello,
I'd love the assistance of a curator! I think an incorrect merge was done on my tree. Two Catherine Walsh profiles were recently merged. Here she is: Catherine Walsh
"My" Catherine's parents, do not match the other Catherine's. I have tried to contact the person that completed the merge, but haven't heard back. I was contacted by John Walsh who is part of the Gilsenen/ Walsh line and we've started comparing notes. According to him the other Catherine was born in Ireland and never came to the US. My Catherine was married and gave birth to her children in Newfoundland, Canada. She died before James Joy, her husband. Many of their children immigrated to the Boston MA area.
Could a curator please recreate the other Catherine, disconnecting the Joy/Walsh line from the Gilsenen/Walsh line? All of the notes are for Catherine Walsh Joy I really appreciate it.

2 months ago a merge was done on Pieter Hagewout, as a result of this he now has two extra undocumented children, Abraham Hagowout and Leah Hagewout.
I was going to contact the manager and ask his source but found that he is no longer active. I used the Abandoned Tree option on the Actions menu, Geni responded with "unable to find a new manager".
So now there are at least two public profiles connected to an MP but with no manager, not sure how to proceed? I could make dupes then merge but surely there is a process in place?

Martin, are you sure that photo matches that profile?
The Templars were dissolved and in 1312 their assets were transferred to the Hospitallers. The profile you've linked is a man born about 1410. It's hard to see how he could have been a Templar 100 years later.
This tombstone is supposed to be an earlier William, the one who died in 1330, Sir William Sinclair of Roslin. See https://www.flickr.com/photos/42304632@N00/161441654/, which says "This is the grave of William de St. Clair, the Knight Templar who was killed in Spain while trying to carry Robert the Bruce's embalmed heart to the Holy Land in 1330.:
Even then, it should send up a red flag that he is described as a Templar. See https://www.flickr.com/photos/lynnmorag/31141562/, which says "Sir William St Clair (along with his father Sir Henry St Clair) in 1309 were witnesses AGAINST the Knights Templar in their trial in Scotland and spoke out against them in harsh terms."
Not only that, but you can see from the picture that this is an ancient slab tombstone resting on a modern base. Not a reliable guide to spelling. See the comments at https://www.flickr.com/photos/lynnmorag/31141562/, one of which says, "sorry to disappoint you, but this isn't the grave of William de Saint Clair. The pink colored stone was found in a field several hundred yards away from the chapel and brought into it in the 1900s. The newer looking stone beneath it was carved and placed here in the late 1900s. I've been to it in person and examined it. There are no discernible letters on top of the pink stone."

Hey guys. Just thought I would post again to make sure my problem gets fixed. I have three duplicates I cannot delete... The profile is Eliza Griggs
Gabriel Morgan Griggs, I need to know who is Frederick's wife, so that one of the curators can cut the incorrect link between the wrong husband of Eliza Griggs.
