Dear Curators,

I've been off for about a week, so I don't know if I missed something posted about this. I noticed that when doing profile comparisons while merging only one set of children shows up. So if person A's children show up, then person B's children don't. It's not like you can't pull up the profiles (which I frequently do anyway) and check them, but it is an extra step. Is this intentional? Anyone else notice this?

Hi Jessica, I did saw the same observation after the latest update. I was thought it is just some privacy behaviour. There might be some changes has been made to behave like this.

Yes they ARE the same person. Yes they SHOULD be merged. Yes a Curator MUST de-MP one profile before they *can* be merged.

Also, somebody appears to habe botched the names of several of his children. Welsh patronymics NEVER went "ap/verch (father's name) ap (MATERNAL grandfather's name) - EVER.

ALL of the "Rhys Madog" children should be "ap Rhys ap Gruffydd" (if male) or "verch Rhys ap Gruffydd" (if female).

Corrections required on:

Hello!

Two Israel Porters here; one died at the age of 6 and can't be the parent of the children listed; the other IS the parent. Both are showing up as the father of the kids.

One needs to get detached from Elizaabeth and the kids; profiles are locked.

the note at the top gives the information, but the child who died early got given wife and kids by mistake somewhere along the line.
