Hello, I have created a GENI entry for a member of my family who wants to be removed. I didn't succeed in removing or renaming the node. Can anyone give me more explanations about this specific problem. Thank you very much. Eric Saya (esaya2@free.fr)

Eric management of this profile was just passed to you...go into tree view and look for the 'X' on the node to see if you can delete it.

It is never a good practice to enter your email address in a public discussion like this after you solve this issue I strongly recommend deleting the post with it.

HELP! I just discovered as I was attempting to do a merge, that the profile for Private User has her brother as her father. I am not sure how to go about cleaning up this profile mess. I can't believe that that is the way I originally entered it!!! (ooops!!!) I sent a message to Marlene, but don't know if/when she will get to the merge request as it sounds like she isn't on the computer that much. I believe that the 2 children listed in her profile are also the same as the 2 listed as "Living Raney", so those would need to be merged also. Her parents are: Arthur Herman Larson & Ruby Mae Norem Larson. I hope someone can help fix this profile. She is my 3rd cousin.

Thanks, Bo-Arne. How do we fix the children??? As a curator can you see the names for the 2 with "Living Raney" as a name?

No, there is no other info in those profiles.
But I merged the Crampton couple (she has not been active since 2008)

Bo-Arne, thanks for your help. I had dates for birth for the children so added those to all of the family profiles that I could. Since they are living, will their first names show to those not in Geni or connected/collaborating or will they show as "Living"...??? Marlene's husband's name was listed as "Living" also so added his name to his profile, even though he is also still alive.

The first names of living/private profiles will not be shown outside the family or collaborator groups. And they will not be searchable in Google unless you are logged into Geni.

I can solve all of them include their nicknames too. this one [Ariffin@Tok Pin Yusof] should be [Rofeah @Tok Ah Bt Ariffin]'s father. Not his partner or spouse. :)
