Alice Edith, Marchioness of Reading was apparently an invalid before she died of cancer - I'm not sure I'd class her as notable and wonder if we need another project / group of projects for disabilities. I was checking if there was one already and found this one. I would think an umbrella 'disabilities' with a project for Blind, deaf, etc.
