Researching the story of Mary Queen of Scots, I found a link relating her story to the Earl of Huntly, and was surprised to find he shares the same name as my 11th great-grandfather. Wikipedia https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/George_Gordon,_4th_Earl_of_Huntly lists his birth as being 1514 and his death at 28 October 1562.
