Is @Æthelberht another victim of "Y, Somme, Picardie, France" syndrom (death location)? Seems probable to me.

Also, Saxony should be in Germany not France.

This might also be some sort of same kind of mistakes,

Aethelbert II Billung, Graf in Sachsen

Born: cirka 685
Billung, Germany
Died: Kent, UK

But if we look on this site called Roskildehistorie, http://www.roskildehistorie.dk/stamtavler/konger/3_Valdemarer/Billu... they clearly only stated this, "Kendt 665", which actually only means, KNOWN in the year of 665, just imagine how many norwegians and danes also writing "ukendt" = unknown, in their profiles, which also easily can be confused with either UK Kent, or mistaken as an actual partners name: okänt, ukendt, ukjent, ekki vitað, just means that their names are unknown.

Private User indeed it's a victim of "y oh y did you write yes dead in the Location field" - I've erased it from the profile. I am hesitant however to add locations without references, so await that info.

Yes, and, I'm going to change that Kent I mentioned to nothing.

There was an Aethelbert of Kent, probably where your Graf picked up locations

Ulf,

Haha, I'll have to make note of that Kendt/ukendt error and watch for it too - thanks for the heads-up!

Erica,

Yes, I think you are right that there is conflation of Aethelbert of Kent and his purported great-grandson Æthelberht (son of Eormenred).
