There seems to be two distinct sets of Rousseaus, Thomas Rousseau, b. 1636 and Françoise Rousseau, b c1615

The descendants of Thomas Rousseau, b. 1636 Thomas Rousseau migrated to Quebec and the other Françoise Rousseau, b c1615 Françoise Retif marrying a Retif and her descendants migrated to South Africa

Correct me if I am wrong but are you seeing it this way too?

actualy i dont think french canadian and south african are related in this line

surly some genealogist have found a possible conection but without any paper that say clearly
that francoise is the dauther of honore and marie

francoise born in about 1615 the parents where not married they do it in 1625 from this bellow

francoise is not the sister of thomas

Why is Francoise still connected on this line?

Without further ado I have removed Honoré Rousseau and Marie Boillerot as parents of Francoise Rousseau, if we get any new sources to show differently we will reconnect
