The Dictionary of Welsh Biography gives us three William (of Gwilym) Griffiths in a row; the first was not a chamberlain, but the next two were.
They are, the Dictionary says, easily mixed up, and we seem to have mixed them up and conflated them, on Geni.
Unless there are objections, I'm going to untangle them.
