John Barrickman (m. Franks) - Sorting out the WV John Barrickman families

According to Paula Coleman, there were two different John Barrickman's of the (now) West Virginia area who both married a Barbara:

-- Barbara Franks (Barbara Barrickman) b. 1777 d. 1857
-- Barbara Peckinpaugh (Barbara Barrickman) b. 1774 d. 1857

Here are their two spouse's John's:
John Barrickman (m. Franks) - m. Franks
John Barrickman - m. Peckinpaugh

I suspect the dates of all 4 of them have been cross-tangled and confused over the years, as well as the which children belong with which couple, and the parents of the two Johns.

Let's see if DNA testing & documentation can be found to sort them out.

Barbara's DNA results indicate that a son Nimrod (her ancestor) is a Peckinpaugh, so that establish one branch.

Please bring others into this discussion who may have information to clarify these families!
