I'm searching for a Moshe Einstein the son of Jacob Einstein in this part of the tree.
I'm wondering if this profile, Jacob Abraham Einstein, was actually called Jacob. The second name Abraham, may not have necessarily been his name, rather, as was customary amongst Jews of those times, it was the name of his father. Hence, Samson the son of Raphael became Samson Raphael, and Jacob the son of Abraham, became Jacob Abraham.
Did he perhaps have a son Moshe, or the German equivalant?
I'm inquiring because I'm trying to connect Moshe Einstein, I know he was closely related to Albert Einstein but am unsure how.
Again, the doesn't have to be the correct connection, all I know is that Rabbi Shmuel Ernst Einstein was very closely related to Albert Einstein, Nobel Prize in Physics 1921. I am told Rabbi Shmuel Ernst Einstein was a nephew or great nephew of Albert Einstein, Nobel Prize in Physics 1921. But this doesn't seem to be the case going by the names I have entered for Rabbi Shmuel Ernst Einstein's ancestors; names I have taken from Rabbi Shmuel Ernst Einstein's own works.
