What is the source that James died 1703 in Essex County?
Where does this informatioen comes from?

D

Did both Peter 1650 and James 1652 both marry Dorothy Pettus? There is a lot of data out that leads one to believe they did, but if one looks at the dates instead of just trying to follow the confusing James and Peters, it seems to me to be improbable. The same can be said about Jane Armelias Lawton have found confusing info about this. Jane Armelies Lawton is where the James Lawton 1676 1742 middle name comes from I believe. I also believe there is confusing In the Josias James Fugate and the Captain Josias aka Josiah Fugate, I believe these are two different people. We often thought that Maratha Poel was a mis spelling in her last name, I have just opened up to world wide Ancestry com and I have found real proof that her last name is VanDerPoel and I have traced her line way back, so the spelling is correct they just left out the first part of her name. I have found that there are several sets of twins in the old Fugate genes, Starting with Peter Adeline and Tobias Fugate born 1585, Peter A and Peter AA both born 1610, then James 1630 8 June 1651 and James 1630 1695. I am taking the thousands of hard copy Pages and reviewing them along with all electronic sources I have. I am now almost 89, so this has become a driving source in my life. My wife is now 83 works at home using my large computer upstairs and I need something to keep my mind alive and well and this is it, I am a retired Master Chief Electronic Warfare Technician and would appreciate any help. I do like Dan Cornets Fugate's work and like to exchange data with him. I forgot one thing I must say that James II could not have been born any later than April or May of 1652 for Em was Pregnant at James I's death 8 June 1651 and she had two be with twins William and James II and William died shortly after birth and was buried 23 May 1652, so, James II could not have been born 18 Dec 1653, if he was then Nicholas Johnson would have been his father,

James the second was born 1653 as his parents have been married in 1651. His brother was born in 1652. I have had a look at he Englsih records and I have found it. I have all the records. Eme was the mother of James the second and William. No Peter is mentioned in the records. She married Nicholas Johnson after her husband died. And Marthas name is not VanderPoel. The marriage records doesn't mention a "VanDer". Peter was a French man and is not related to James family at all.
