Confused. Jenkin ap Adam's brother is Thomas...

Ah yes.

I haven’t much messed with Overviews when cleaning up in the Welsh tree. But I believe I will go fix this.

What has happened is that someone has confused the patrynomic for a surname, and carried it on down a generation. This happens LOTS in the Welsh tree.
