This John Wright is my husband's 12th great grandfather. I believe he fathered a son in 1509 by an unknown woman referred to as 'Unknown Baston'. This son became John Howchyns and lived until 1568. 'Unknown Baston''s husband was also John Howchyns. He married 'Unknown Baston' in 1505 so I assume John Wright's son was adopted, or at least accepted into his family, by the elder John Howchyns. Anyone else come across this?
