Need Curator to Correct Locked Profile

I realize that, but he's listed everywhere as Thierry, not Theodoric, even on the link you provided. So it would make sense to have his Geni profile by the version of his name he is most known by. Also, Alsace where he was from is in France, so it make sense why he is most commonly known by the French variation of his name. Granted, it's on the border and control has obviously fluctuated as noted:

Just saying, most people profiled in Geni are listed by their most commonly known name because it makes it so much easier to find them in a search than trying to remember what other variation of their name they might be listed under if not under how they were best known.

Ok, if everyone thinks he should be left with the German variation of his name instead of the French variation of his birth and that he is commonly known by, I'm not here to argue about it. Just makes more sense to me for him to be listed as Thierry. In either case, the profile for his "brother" Thierry should be deleted.

I would have thought he was too .) There are so many merges at the moment and new people/ data coming in that we need to be careful, especially since there are marriages between different countries.
