I think that a few families have become confused.

Family 1
John Thomas Lloyd 1848-1934
* father George Benjamin Lloyd 1815-1907
* mother Mary Ann Lloyd 1819-1894
* wife Jane Thurston 1844-1918

His wife is problematic as she married 1) Horatio Thurston died 1881 and her death records are in her 1st husbands name - which seems unlikely

Family 2
John Thomas Lloyd 1853-1922
* father Charles Alexander Lloyd 1822-1893
* mother Alice Jane Lloyd, Free "Panama" 1850 1834-1901
* wife Jane Lloyd 1862-1916

Children - some have been attributed to both families
* 1874 Alfred John Clarence Lloyd
* 1876 George Leslie Lloyd
* 1877 Anne Jane Lloyd, infant
* 1879 John Charles Lloyd, infant
* 1880 Claude Lloyd Lloyd, infant
* 1881 Private
* 1883 Thomas William Lloyd
* 1883 Emelina Maude Lloyd
* 1884 Private
* 1885 Harold Lloyd
* 1886 Alfred G Lloyd, infant
* 1886 Private

Can anyone add any information on these families?

The same Jane TAILBY could not have married both John Thomas LLOYD and Horatio THURSTON because

she had children with Horatio THURSTON between 1864 and 1880
she had children with John Thomas LLOYD between 1874 and 1886

I have reversed the merge that merged Jane Lloyd with Jane Thurston

They are both the children of George Tailby and Catherine Tailby, Twin
