I've uploaded whom I believe to be a lead to Thomas's parents. An Edward Stanly and a Eliz. The ship records of his father are correct for the time period and the birth records in England. It reference his father as a "Captain" and thus why I believe its been hatd to find records on this branch. Please review the uploads and let me know your opinion.

and these family lines intertwine. It seems their were many ships and the E remained or was dropped depending on record. Seems these family lines came from money. I beleive they were related and Virginia is their common history tied in with Ohio and North Carolina family lines.
