She's the mother of George Robert Twelves (Twelvetrees?) Hewes, and *supposedly* the "Twelves" was *her* mother's birth surname. Except here it isn't - so where *did* it come from?
George is a very unusual case of double-barrelled middle names in the mid-18th century, but he certainly *used* them all.
