Is there documentation for the parents attached to Ariamiro?

Asking because this Wikipedia page on him only has unproven speculation of his parentage and doesn't mention the parents attached here on Geni.

Thanks in advance for any additional information or clarification.

Thanks for the links, but I can't see from those individual personal profiles and a discussion that doesn't mention Ariamiro II how that validates the parental connection.

Ariamiro. ?, p. s. vi – 569 ant. King Suevo.

Ariamiro came to the throne at some point after May 1, 558, because on that same day of the year 561 he authorized the celebration of the First Council of Braga declaring that he was in the third year of his reign.

In that council, the Priscillian heresy was condemned and the foundations of the Swabian Catholic Church were laid, although no mention was made of Arianism. Despite this, some have considered that Ariamiro would be the Swabian king associated with the conversion of his people from Arianism to Catholicism, and that the Karriarico, which Gregory of Tours associates with such an event, would be a confusion of names.

Ariamiro died before 569, because in that year Teodomiro occupied the Swabian throne.

(No mention of family)

https://pt.wikipedia.org/wiki/Miro_%28monarca%29 mentions a Nuño of Galicia with no further discussion. Nuño de Suevos da Galícia

Nuno is not found as a son of Miro, king of the Suevi at Miro, king of the Suevi

Currently the profile shows:

Ariamiro II of Galicia, Rey Suevo de Galicia MPlock
Dutch: Ariamiro, Rey Suevo de Galicia
Gender: Male
Birth: 610
Death: after 660
Immediate Family:
Son of Nuño da Galícia and Miss (Noble of Galícia) of Deza
Husband of Arceriunda, señora de Deza
Father of Conde Melendo Arias and Ylduara Lúcida

If the dates are accurate, the parents are not.

I see a blogspot:

Thanks to the Internet I found a study of the Argentine family Saavedra and there is Ariamiro, and also his father Alarico and his grandfather Teodorico (years 454-526). He would be the oldest relative known and with Don Teo the story ends:

Ylduara or Aldara, Lady of the Castle of Arias. Legitimate daughter of Ylduara Lúcida and Melenado Arias, Lord of the Castle of Arias and Deza; son of Ariamiro, Lord of the Castle of Arias of Anaia; son of Alaric II and Teodegonda, natural daughter of Theodoric, King of the Ostrogoths. Ariamiro married Arceriunda, Lady of Deza; daughter of Theodora and Severian, Duke of Cartagena; son of Theodoric, King of the Ostrogoths.

Ariamiro II of Galicia, Rey Suevo de Galicia could not have held that title, and the image posted must be for someone else.

The last king Suevic king of Galicia was Malaric (585); then the Visigoths took over the region.

Awesome, Erica! Thanks for your work on this!

You might find this of interest. It includes translation from the Spanish source but doesn’t do the hagiography.
