Good evening,
I was hoping someone could help me with a couple of questions regarding Robert de Molines, son of the above William (1025) de Falaise. In reviewing the information for Robert (son of WIlliam) it would appear that there is an issue with Robert's DOB of 997. This is well before the DOB of his father William at 1025.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Best regards,
John Love

Bad merges and zero research lead to this same scenario throughout the tree, sadly very few users want to spend the time and effort researching the profiles to correct the mistakes.

The About of Sir William de Molins, 1st Lord of Sefton names two sons, William and Vivian, and his father as Abelard but this profile has two sons, Robert and William, and a father named Guillaume de Falaise, seigneur de Moulins-la-Marche (aka William) so is this profile even actually in the correct place in the tree?

kind PRO LADY KIM ,
I would not know, you just connected Sir William de Molins, 1st Lord of Sefton (from what I understand English)

son of Guimond de Moulins (father of Normans who came to Italy)

actually looking at the ML sources there is a Robert among the missing children to be added.. & there are others missing Robert around here too.. but it is all an Italic-Norman knot:

are you sure or is it an another attempt as described here a couple of years ago? ^^'

A child can't be born before the parent. The same tree is in familysearch.org and Robert was a sibling.

Well yes & I'm sorry to be the one to tell you that family search is useful by searching for our contemporaries of a couple of centuries, in 1000 it really has no reliability.
& yes from time to time there are also time jumps, easily identifiable mathematically even for a basic algorithm, but evidently everything is left in disarray ^^'

You can peacefully use your PRO powers to remove its parents whenever you want :)
