I'm going to be very frank, here. Just because a girl is between 14-15 when she has her first child, doesn't mean her year of birth is incorrect. I was a 'woman' at age eleven. Age of Consent at this time was 12, as in Europe. All she had to be, was developed enough (menses) to be married and for the groom to consummate the marriage. I didn't guess at her age, nor did I make up the year of birth for her first child, Archibald. So adjusting them for the faint of heart won't happen. That would constitute a lie. And while we're on the subject a man is able to father a child well into his elder years, so long as he is healthy.
So, to those who are going around fact-checking, to keep down inconsistencies, can we please also rely a bit on the science of biology? My family is who they are. I can't wave a wand and make it all go away.
