Facts or Fiction what do you all want for the Welborn and Crabtree lineage?

I think many people prefer to follow a Fairy tale or mistakes made by previous published genealogy books.

Even the exceptional genealogist make mistakes. We must add the original documentation and correct the mistakes on Geni.

We must remember they didn't have the information we have these days when they published their works. My aunt was a wonderful genealogists, but she was the first to admit, everyone makes mistakes.

Birth Record of all Crabtree Children

No where does it say "KINGSVILLE" nor would it, the town didn't exist when the Crabtree Children were born.

This town was named for a man born after Ann Crabtree died. Note: town of Kingsville, Baltimore County, MD wasn't formed until the 1800s. [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kingsville,_Maryland Kingsville Maryland named for Abraham King (1760–1836)]

I correct her and her siblings profiles and you all go back and put they were born in KIngsville., there is no court document stating KIngsvile was their birth city.
Why? Because someone wrote it in a book and published it?

Apologies

I know I come across harsh, don't mean it that way. Just trying to get the Kingsville taken care of. It's all over the place online. Ha Ha!

Suzan I don't see where you ever changed it FROM "Kingsville", did I miss something?

It looks to me like it's been "Kingsville" ever since "the Geni Team" made it that way very early on, when the profile was first created:
