If Joan was born in 1304 it seems curious that her first child John Fitzwalter was born in 1317 when she was 13 although there is no recorded date for her marriage to Robert Fitzwalter.
Presumably John De Penington was her second marriage sometime before 1330 as her second (or third) child William De Penington was born in 1330.
There seems to be a reasonable level of confidence in the 1317 ish birth date for John Fitzwalter, 2nd Baron Fitzwalter so it would seem that she may have been born a few years earlier at least or is perhaps not the mother of John Fitzwalter?
