Think a bad erge has been ade again I do not see where it was made in the revisions tab

Think this set of parents is wrong

Edward Decon b. circa 1568, St Anthin Bldg Rw, London, Middlesex
(now Greater London), England (United Kingdom); d. 1612, England
(United Kingdom)
Collet Dixon (Olyver) b. circa 1572, London, Middlesex (now Greater
London), England (United Kingdom); d. September 15, 1692, England
(United Kingdom)

but I do see where these above parents were disconnected earlier as follows

C
William Dixon, Sr was disconnected from his parents Edward Decon and Collet Decon (Olyver) and sibling Prudence Martin (Deacon) by Erica Howton.

"England, Births and Christenings, 1538-1975", database, FamilySearch (https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:JQL6-QNL : 10 April 2021), William Dixon, 1596.

Name William Dixon

Event Type Christening
Event Date 2 Jan 1596

However, https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/8240489/william-dickson shows him as born abt 1614 and died 5 Aug 1692 in Cambridge with tombstone evidence.

Married to Jane, not Katherine.

That would be this William Dickson, of Cambridge

So we have some mixups.

https://www.familysearch.org/en/tree/person/details/LHJL-DPZ shows him married to Katherine Berkely and erroneously as father of Ambrose Dixon who went to Maryland.

It is highly unlikely there were related, or that the man who died 1692 was the man christened 1596.

Which means the Massachusetts man was likely not the one who married Katherine Berkeley on 15 Feb 1621. Not if he was born 1614.

"England Marriages, 1538–1973", database, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:NK7B-PBM : 13 March 2020), William Dixon, 1621.

Who is the child of interest?

Detached Ambrose Dixon, Sr. as son of William & Katherine.

William Dixon (son of Henry Dixon & Mary Blower)

From William Dixon, Sr (son of Edward Dixon)

But I do not know which William was the husband of Katherine Dixon

It's a poorly sourced group, but https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Decon-3 shows Katherine Berkely, parents unknown, married William (son of Edward). So I'm going with that unless there's something otherwise posted here.
