This profile of SGT Jacob Bonham may be incorrectly associated with his "Father's" profile of Amariah "Amos" Bonham, Amariah "Amos" Bonham as the last will of Amariah was dated 1802. That Amariah bequeaths items to all his children, including a Jacob. However, this Jacob died 20 years prior in 1792.

Is there any information proving otherwise? Thanks.

I detached this Jacob from parents for you. If there is proof of origins, he can always be put back.

Well, that's why I was looking for a discussion. There are a few different written histories that show this Jacob as being the son of this Amariah. I'm just asking the question. I agree it seems unlikely that a deceased son would be mentioned in a Will, but it also recognizes the heirs of his children. Of course, I do recognize your expertise in these matters. Thank you.
