A better source that Stirnet is needed to support "before 26 July 1630". Her father's birth on Geni shows "before November 1479" and his death "1526". While it's possible she was born a few months after her father died, it's improbable that she lived to about age 103.

Janet Hamilton ,s profile shows birth "March 1553", which is insupportable. Even if it's right, it puts her far too old to bear a child, just as it's implausible that she gave birth to Isobel Unless she was 10+ years younger than John Hamilton of Broomhill .

Stirnet shows Janet's birth, which is wrongly input as her date of birth:—
"m(1). Janet Hamilton (d 04.1553?, dau of Sir Robert Hamilton of Fingalton & Preston, possibly m2. John Carmichael of Ednam) (hamilton06.php#broom3)"

The death date used by Stirnet follows the following:

'26 March 1630: Charter by which King Charles I confirms possession of certain lands to William Hamilton, now of Dalserf, son of the late William Hamilton of Dalserf. His landed possession included the ten shilling lands of Corshill formerly held by the late Robert Hamilton, younger of Dalserf, and his wife, the late Isobel Hamilton.
