I have been merging in duplicates around Richard Lee I "The Immigrant" and Anne Lee (Constable).

There are some issues with the parents of Richard and of Anne which I will leave for now.

There may also be some remaining issues with data fields from the merges.

We should focus on making the profiles of Richard Lee I and Anne Lee (Constable) perfectly correct, sourced, and with good About Me. Ditto for their children.

To do that, you can go into the profile and work on it. Do not create any more duplicate profiles. That creates extra work. Jacqueli Charlene Finley is the person to go to for sources to prove data fields such as name, date of birth, date of death, locations of birth, death, and burial. She should review the profiles for accuracy.

If there is conflicting data from reliable primary sources, note it in this discussion and we'll make a curator note.

I would like to lock the MPs if people agree, after we get them correct.

Who is going to work on which profile of the two parents and the children?

And is it Ann, Anne, or Anna???

You can use all three - her baptism records and RL will show Anna - but also Anne, Ann. Proper name "Anna". I do not show any documentation at all for the "Wentworth" attached to Alice BTW - and the manager showed no source for this.

I have done extensive research on Anne (Anna) :), and have her biography - will add to her profile once I go through my files here and can duplicate it.

Hatte Rubenstein Blejer
I also have copy of RL's original will (certified copy of micro film) which I will add when I get the scanner online again.

@Hatte
Locking MP wouild be the correct way to go. Thank you

I don't want to lock until they are correct so all the project collaborators - including you and James - can work on the About Me and the biographic fields. But I think it's best to lock them because I see they are a favorite of Geni users. We can put a nice note to contact the curator to ask to add information.

Okay, I'll put Matthew with the correct parents.

Thanks - I am sure we will find a lot more mis-placed :)

I made the three Hugh Lees Master Profiles, the last one being Matthew's father, so they don't get confused. I moved and merged Matthew and corrected his place of birth. And MPed him.

That area will need working on, but I'm coming back to "The Immigrant", Ann Constable, and their children.

:)

just wanted to say that i am so pleased to see this project under way here at geni. as a family member from the william c. lee and alice felton lee line i really appreciate all the jacqueli has done to bring to light the true heritage of our family!

It's great to see you here Lizzie! I'm still wondering if my Jewish grandmother was correct and I am also a descendant. Once we get the family straightened out, I should be able to figure that out.

Jacqueli - can you add Lizzie to the project. We need the help to get this line straightened out and she's ideal if she's willing to help on her own branch, with your great sources and guidance.

thanks hatte! have always been proud of my lee family heritage that my great-grandmother passed on down to me>richard "the immigrant" lee>william c. lee>richard h. lee>richard h. lee>barnett p. lee>thomas j. lee>margaret a. lee

Jacqueli - Sorry I was offline all day but have MPed those three profiles and added them to the project.

And added Private User to the Lees of Virginia as a collaborator. I'll be online on Sunday for sure and probably Saturday part of the day.

They are the children of Richard I and Anne Constable - I thought they had already been added to the porject via first generation? Thank you for MP.

Hatte Rubenstein Blejer I believe you can also MP William Constable Lee's profile also at this point it looks like I cleared up the issues, thanks :)

FYI - Working on Hancock Lee and John Lee next (today)

opps meant Hancock and Richard :) ... neeed my morning coffee!

I will MP William Constable Lee now. You're doing great. Let's get the dates and names cleaned up and MP them.

We will need also to work on About Me and source our data, but first we should get data fields correct and get them MPed and added to the project.

I'm looking forward to seeing Hancock and Richard when you're finished.

Hatte Rubenstein Blejer
Of course - that's exactly what I have been doing. I will let you know when I have all of the first gen done. Thank you.

It's looking good. I feel great about the progress you are making on behalf of all the Lees.

My mother says our Robert E Lee relationship is through Martha Ann Mintz who was the wife of my great great grandfather Sidney Algernon Pettigrew.

I am having a little trouble with Hancock's son John had been confused with William's son john - the merging process is not easy ...

Jacqueli - I have to run out to shop for a dinner party but let me know what the issue is and either today or tomorrow if you find it too crazy, I can complete the merging.

Hatte Rubenstein Blejer

When fixing John Lee son of Hancock and John Lee son of William - Hancock and William's info seems to have disappeared and is all a mess (?) was someone else working on these? now when I go to their profiles I get conflicting data and a merge mess ????

Okay, I'll take a look. I haven't done any merging or even touched the profiles of that generation in a couple of days.

Thank you - it shouldn't have deleted Hancock's MP and William's MP but it looks as if it did - I was just changing the data on son's John :(
