About Abraham Odjick (8abanibic)
When Abraham Odjick joined up for World War II at 49 years old with Joseph Odjick, his much younger brother, he started out ranked as a private like everyone else and was assigned to camp cook. Every child without a family who came into the camp was sure to get a meal from Abraham. Interestingly, after he was released, the Private on his papers was scratched out and Captain was written above it.
