Alewijn Jacobsz. of De Snook, hoek van Jacob Gerritsen Straat, died 1621;buried 5 July 1621, Oude Kerk, Delft; will dated 18 April 1621
Notes: In his joint will with his wife, Maritgen Joosten, dated 18th April 1621, he is called just Alewijn Jacobs and he signs himself as such. On the occasion of his burial in the Oude Kerk, he is also recorded as just Alewijn Jacobsz. The surname Tol seems only to have been applied to him in the Church Register record of Maritgen Joosten's second marriage in January 1622 when she is described as: Maritgen Joosten wedu' van Alewyn Jacobsz tol.
When Alewijn Jacobs was married in 1606 he was living in the 'Grooten Snouck' , and when he was buried in 1621, his address was 'de Snouck' in the Jacob Gerritsen Street (inde Snoock opde houck van Jacob gerritsz
[straat]) and his widow continued to live in that house through her two subsequent marriages, finally being buried from there herself in 1644.

His widow continued to live in that house through her two subsequent marriages, finally being buried from there herself in 1644.
Their son, Jacob Alewijnsz. Tol, also lived at De Snouck, Jacob Gerritsen Straet, Delft (in 1647 given as Odenlangendijck).
