Bartrum notes: "Ali ap Ieuan ab Adda (F94, S*59) Brawd oedd Ali i Heilin (S*59) but generally wrongly Ali ap Ieuaf ap Heilin (F54, H184c, etc)." That is, though two manuscripts give Ali as the brother of Heilin, many others give him as the grandson of Heilin. As to the MSS -- F is Peniarth 129; H is Peniarth 128; S is Peniarth 139, Part 1.
