About Alice Puttenham
Alice, wife of George Puttenham, is named as one of five daughters of Thomas Windsor and Elizabeth Andrews in Colin's Peerage.
She was most likely born around 1465 as she was already married when her father wrote his will in 1479.
She is mentioned in her maternal grandmother Lady Elizabeth Andrews' will but not in the will of her mother Elizabeth.
A 1516 document regarding property at Long Marsden, Gobilcote and Tring infers that Alice was still living at that date, but had died before her husband wrote his will in 1534.
