Ann Darnall (or Darnell) was born about 1716 at Hanover Parish, Richmond County, Virginia, and died 1798 at Fauqier County. She was the daughter of Wade Darnall and Elizabeth Bronough.
She married twice.

Charles was not of age in 1738 since his brother, John, was his guardian in that year. He married Ann Darnell, daughter of Waugh Darnell and widow of Jonas Williams. Ann was a widow in 1744 and was married to Charles by 1748. On July 22, 1748, Charles Garner and wife Ann, of Prince William County, sold to John Wright [her half brother] of the same county 60 acres of land lying in Prince William, being part of a patent of Waugh Darnell, deceased, adjoining the said Wright, formerly owned by Jonas Williams, Jr. and the said Ann, beginning at the said Wright's, wnding in the division line between the two daughters of Waugh Darnell. Witnesses were John Garner, Thomas Machen and William Smith. (Pr. Wm. D. B. ?, p.44)."
