 Lady Anne Ramsay is the daughter of William Ramsay, 1st Earl of Dalhousie and Lady Margaret Carnegie.2 She married, firstly, John Scrymgeour, 1st Earl of Dundee, son of James Scrymgeour, 2nd Viscount Dudhope and Lady Isabella Ker, in July 1644.1 She married, secondly, Sir Henry Bruce of Clackmannan on 13 October 1670.3

    As a result of her marriage, Lady Anne Ramsay was styled as Viscountess Dudhope in July 1644. From July 1644, her married name became Scrymgeour.1 As a result of her marriage, Lady Anne Ramsay was styled as Countess of Dundee in September 1660. From 13 October 1670, her married name became Bruce.3
