About Anna Capps

Per the 1900 TN Census, Anna's daughter Ellen (Eleanor Penelope) reported her father & mother being born in North Carolina. That being true, Anna would have come to TN with her parents (Elisha and Elizabeth Fly) at an early age. Another record reports that Elisha Jr. purchased land in Davidson Co in march 1796.

Per Anna's gravestone inscription, "Died Oct. 15, 1868; aged about 60 yr" her birth date would be about 1808.

Therefore, there is a discrepancy of Anna's true birth date.
