Anne Codrington

She married at Shrivingham in Berkshire on 1595 May 26 to Robert Codrington, gent. He died 17 Feb 1618. His effigy is shown praying with his wife, Anna, and below them, in a frieze of mourners, are their seventeen children.

The widow Anne Codrington remarried Ralph Marsh in July 1627, but widowed again by 1639, when she was mentioned in the will of Hester Stubbs of Watchfield:

"I give and bequethe unto my eldest daughter Anne Marshe widowe the som[m]e of twelve pence and to each of her Children twelve pence a peece."

Anna Stubbs was baptized 09 Jan 1575 at St Clement Danes, Westminster, London, the daughter of William Stubbs and his wife Hester Harington.
