Anne Trahan is the daughter of Jean Trahan and Marguerite Broussard based on the following:

1) At the baptism of Emelie in Nov. 1774, one of the sponsors was Germain Trahan, son of Jean Trahan & Marguerite Broussard. (Hebert SWLA RECORDS v. 1A p. 378)

2) At baptism of Jean Charles 15 Jul 1772, one of the sponsors was Marguerite Trahan, daughter of Jean Trahan & Marguerite Broussard (Hebert SWLA RECORDS v. 1A p. 380)

3) At the wedding of Germain Trahan, son of Jean Trahan & Marguerite Broussard on 4 Feb 1781, one of the witnesses was Charles Guilbeau (Hebert SWLA RECORDS v. 1A p. 766)
