About Ardolph I, II. comte de Guînes
Ardolph, Comte de Guisnes is the son of Siegfried 'the Dane', Comte de Guisnes and Elstrude de Flandre.1
He gained the title of Comte de Guisnes.1

Ardolf or Adolphe second count of Guines said the Posthumous (° † ap.996 v.966). Son of Siegfried I of Guines said the Danes and Elstrude Ghent.
biography
He was almost to his birth provided the title of Count of Guines by Arnulf II, Count of Flanders, his cousin, who brought him up in his court. Arnulf II also gave him the land of Brédenarde. He surrounds the Chateau de Guines a double ditch, called the tank.
Marriage and children
He married Matilda or Mahaut de Boulogne, daughter of Ernicule, Count of Boulogne. They had children:
- Raoul or Rudolph (v.992 ° † 30 May 1036).
