Benjamin E. Kimzey, was the son of Benjamin Kimzey Jr. and Agness Lane and grandson of Benjamin Kimzey Sr.and Margaret Gregg. His oldest child was a daughter born before 1810, name unknown. He moved from NC after his father's death, with his mother and several of his siblings. They settled in Bedford Co., TN. From that county, he enlisted in the War of 1812. Several years later

he moved to Howard Co. MO,where his brothers Solomon and Hiram and several of his cousins also went. A few years later, Benjamin E. Kimzey moved to Saline Co., MO, there he sold and traded salt for goods. He then moved again to Johnson Co., MO, where he died in 1849.---Colette Kimsey

Benjamin E. was the son of Benjamin, Jr. and Agnes Lane. He was born Feb. 24, 1796 and married Mary Parr.
