Biography
When Caleb Munson was born in 1735 in Morristown, New Jersey, his father, Solomon, was 46. He married Susannah Ludlam on June 22, 1758, in his hometown. <ref>"New Jersey Marriages, 1678-1985," database, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:FZ5B-FMX : 12 December 2014), Caleb Munson and Susanna Ludlam, 22 Jun 1758; citing 899,807</ref> They had seven children in 17 years. He died on February 25, 1815, in New Vernon, New Jersey, having lived a long life of 80 years.
Note: Caleb's mother: was his father's second wife, Tamar. The Munson Recond states, " Soon after the last date probably (at any rate before 28 Nov. 1740), Solomon removed to Morris Town, N.J. His sons Samuel and Eliasaph were also there at the date just names, and his wife Mary Moss had died."
