Capt Peter Francis Middleton

Captain Peter Francis Middleton, 1920-2010

He is the father of Michael Middleton, and the grandfather of Catherine, Princess of Wales, Philippa Matthews and James Middleton.

He is the great grandfather of their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, who are second, third and fourth in line to the British throne respectively.

Early life, education, and early career-

He was Prince Philip's co-pilot on a tour of South America and was a commercial pilot and RAF officer Captain Peter Francis Middleton.

The Middleton family, including Peter's father Richard Noël Middleton and his wife Olive, had played host to members of the British royal family in Leeds from the 1920s.[6][7][8][9]
