Biography

Christian Lundie was the daughter of John Lundie of that Ilk (fl. 1457-66 ).and Elizabeth Forrester.[1] [1][2] She died before 29 Jul 1515, the date John Forbes married his third wife, Elizabeth Barlow.

Christian married, as his second wife, to John Forbes, the 6th Lord Forbes.[2] on 26 February 1510. His first wife was Katherine (or Catherine) Stewart.

Children of Christian Lundie and John Forbes:

1. John Forbes (c.1509-1537). Married Elizabeth Lyon.
2. William Forbes (c.1510-1593). Married Elizabeth Keith.
3. Margaret Forbes (c.1511) m. Andrew Fraser of Muchalls
4. Elizabeth Forbes (c.1513-1570) m1. Gilbert Keith of Troup; m2. Alexander Innes of Innes
5. Marjorie Forbes (c.1514) m. Alexander Forbes of Brux
