About David Coverdale
David "Jack" Coverdale (born 22 September 1951) is an English rock singer, most famous for his work with hard rock band Whitesnake which achieved massive commercial success. During his early career Coverdale had a few years-long stint as the vocalist for Deep Purple, and he left the band to establish his solo career, later progressed to Whitesnake. A collaboration album with Jimmy Page was also successful.
